What VetBuddy does

VetBuddy is a business management and marketing platform designed for organisations that want to manage leads, sales processes, customer communication, campaigns and workflow automation from one place.

• Lead & contact management — organise prospects and customers, maintain contact records and track lead activity.
• Sales pipelines — manage opportunities and follow their progress through configurable sales stages.
• Campaign management — monitor marketing activity and bring campaign performance information into a central dashboard.
• Workflow automation — automate routine actions, follow-ups and internal processes based on business rules and events.
• Reporting & dashboards — review lead, pipeline and campaign information without switching between multiple systems.
• Connected services — optionally connect supported third-party services, including Google services, to enable related features inside VetBuddy.

VetBuddy is intended for businesses and their authorised users. Users access only the accounts, workspaces and connected services for which they have been granted permission.

Google integrations

Connecting a Google account is optional. VetBuddy requests Google permissions only when a user chooses to enable a Google-powered feature. The requested Google data is used to provide that feature inside the user's VetBuddy account.

Google Ads connection

Businesses can connect a Google Ads account to VetBuddy so authorised users can view Google Ads account and campaign performance from their VetBuddy dashboard. This allows businesses to review advertising results alongside their leads, pipelines and other marketing activity in one portal.

When a user connects Google Ads, VetBuddy may access information such as:

• Google Ads customer/account identifiers and accessible advertising accounts.
• Campaign, ad group and advertisement names, identifiers, statuses and related configuration information needed for reporting.
• Advertising performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, conversion value and related reporting statistics.

VetBuddy uses this Google Ads data to retrieve, organise and display advertising performance information requested by the user. The current Google Ads reporting feature is intended to provide reporting and visibility within VetBuddy; VetBuddy does not use the connected Google Ads account to make unrelated changes to advertising campaigns.

Google account information

Where required for authentication or account connection, VetBuddy may receive basic Google account information associated with the authorising user, such as their email address and basic profile information. This information is used to identify the connected account, maintain the integration and show the user which Google account is connected.

Google Calendar

Where the Calendar integration is enabled, authorised users can connect Google Calendar so VetBuddy can check availability and create, update or cancel appointments that the user schedules through VetBuddy. Calendar access is used only to provide these scheduling features.

How we handle Google user data

• User choice: Google integrations are optional and are initiated by the user.
• Purpose limitation: Data obtained from Google is used only for the connected VetBuddy functionality described above.
• Access control: Connected data is available only within the relevant authorised VetBuddy account or workspace.
• Disconnecting access: Users can disconnect a Google integration from VetBuddy. This stops future access through that connection. Data retention and deletion are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
